Restorative Dentistry
DENTAL BRIDGE AND DENTAL CROWN OPTIONS
One of the most frequently used restorations provided by Dr. Haywood are bonded ceramic inlays and onlays. They are by far the longest lasting, strongest, dental restorations with a lifetime potential. They are made of the best and most beautiful materials that will outlast any other restoration available today. Essentially, they are the “ultimate filling.”
INLAYS
ONLAYS
We have patients that refer to them as “inside crowns”. That is an excellent way to think of it, as it implies strength and conservation of the better parts of the damaged tooth. We prefer to do onlays when possible simply because they are conservative compared to traditional crowns and equally strong. Research has shown that the less you reduce a tooth, the better it will survive long-term, and our goal is to provide you with healthy teeth for life.

ROOT CANAL
A root canal procedure includes cleaning out the infected pulp, disinfecting the canals and filling the void with a rubber like substance to prevent further infection. Sometimes a crown is recommended to restore the tooth shape, look, and to strengthen the tooth structure. Read more about root canals.

ADDITIONAL DENTISTRY OPTIONS
Emergency Dental Care
We provide immediate and effective dental emergency services, ensuring you don’t have to wait in pain and risk further damage. Dr. Haywood can address several different dental emergencies and get your oral health back on track.
Single Tooth Implant
A single tooth implant is a single dental implant that is put in to replace one missing tooth. Dr. Steven Haywood attaches a titanium post into the jawbone in the spot of the missing tooth to act as the tooth's root. He then places a dental crown over the abutment attached to the titanium post.
Oral Surgery Extractions
Dr. Haywood provides surgical extractions for teeth that cannot be treated any other way. Surgical extractions can be done under intravenous (IV) sedation or local anesthesia, depending on what is best for the patient.
